Brace Yourself: Pantone’s Autumn/Winter Color Palette for 2020/2021 is Here

It might seem a bit premature to start talking about autumn and winter, but when it comes to color and home decorating, it’s never too early to start looking ahead— especially during this current time of uncertainty. And that’s exactly what we’re going to do now that Pantone has released their showstopping color palette for 2020/2021 from Color Week in New York.

According to the experts at Pantone Color Institute, this year’s autumn/winter palette reflects “our interest in desirable seasonal classics imbued with personality.” Colors are described as timeless, versatile, and functional while remaining unique enough to stand out.

Furthermore, Pantone states that “these colors encourage creativity as well as pragmatism, reflecting the changing mindset of today’s consumer, who prioritizes value and longevity over color choices that are here today and gone tomorrow.”

Speaking of something else that is here today and gone tomorrow…

Summer. It’ll be over before you know it. Until it is, however, continue squeezing out as much enjoyment as you can. But during those down times, dream about what you can do with this sensational plethora of color.
