For example, if you have neighbors close by, or, if your home faces east to west, you might want a little extra barrier for privacy or temperature control. 
• What is your home’s decor like? A bay window should be dressed in a way to make it a distinct part of the room, but it’s also important to make sure it complements the decor that surrounds it. This will also help determine what fabric will be best in setting the mood (casual, dramatic, etc) for the space. The last thing you need is a gorgeous window to make a grand statement in a bad way.
